Description: Typical of roughly the period 1470–1495, with many forms even then. It is fundamentally short (to accommodate the armour) and very similar to the farsetti. It is essentially a close-fitting outer jacket that does not restrict movement. Characteristically it has eyelets at the neck and on the sleeves so that the harness can be attached.
